Here at Lux we have something different happening every night of the week. We don’t want any of you getting bored now, do we?

Sunday:

B.Y.O.B. Night — Burn Your Own Burger for $1.00

Monday:

Arts and Crafts Night — Scissors, glue, & $1.00 off all drafts

Tuesday:

PBR / PBJ (& Trivia) Night — FREE PB&Js, $1 PBRs, & Trivia at midnight

Wednesday:

B-Movie Backyard Bonanza — Free Movie, $2.50 well/$2 Labatt's, $1 popcorn

Thursday:

Sit-N-Spin Night — Roulette Specials that change every hour

Friday:

Slap-Happy Hour — $2 drafts/$2.50 well drinks 4:30–9pm. Free pizza at 6pm

Saturday:

Cheap Date Night — $2.50 well drinks from 9–11pm

• And every night, the Pabstsmear — $3 for a Pabst and a shot (from the well rack of course, we're not crazy).

Sunday Night is “B.Y.O.B. NIGHT”

We're firing up the grill. Sunday is burn your own burger night at Lux. Get your burger for just a buck! And our super special deal—two for two bucks! Wow! We've also got the best buns in town and all the ketchup and mustard you could ever want. So come fill your little bellies at Lux.

For those of you who are on liquid diets, domestic bottles are just $2.

It is also our unofficial “GAME NIGHT”—come hang out and play silly games with your friends. We have a stack of board games out the wazoo or you can feel free to bring your own. We have all the classics like: Chutes and Ladders, Yahtzee, Scrabble, Payday, Candy Land, Battleship, Trivial Pursuit, and so on...and so on....

We also have a table game that a local artist (Jay Lincoln) painted and created just for Lux. It is REALLY cool. It plays a lot like Chutes and Ladders—you have to roll the dice and move however many spaces, but there are also arrows that send you sliding to other spaces on the board. It is based on Dante's Inferno and the first one to make it through all the stages of hell wins. It’s nice because you don’t have to think too hard AND it’s pretty easy to turn into a drinking game if you want to up the stakes a little. (Not that we promote drinking too much...no...never.)

It's also S.I.N. Night (Service Industry Night), so if you are a fellow Beer Slinger, barback, waitress...you get $1.00 off your bevies all night long. (If we don't know you, bring a pay-stub from your work so we can avoid the greuling interrogation & background check.... We don't want any S.I.N. Imposters, now do we.)

Monday Night is “ARTS AND CRAFTS NIGHT”

There is a big table set up with all sorts of cool stuff to get crafty with. We make up a “Craft of the Night” instruction sheet that is placed on the bar and tables in case you need a little inspiration. Or...you can just let those creative juices flow. All we ask for is a dollar donation to help pay for some of the supplies.

Also to help keep the ol’ brain from freezing up, we’ve knocked $1.00 off all our draft beer for the night. Nothing goes better with a pint of beer than a little glue and a nice pair of scissors.

Tuesday Night is “PBR / PBJ & TRIVIA NIGHT”

Starting at 9:00 pm, we bring out a huge stack of home-made Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches. Yummy! Yummy! You have to get there early if you want any because they disappear fast. Hands down, the best PB&Js in the city (at least it seems that way after a couple cocktails). We also have PBRs (Pabst Blue Ribbon) in a can for ONE WHOLE DOLLAR all night long. Never before has a hangover come so cheaply.

We also do a round of trivia around midnight. Basically, the bartender gets on the microphone and shouts out a few trivia questions and the first one to yell out the correct answer wins “a really crappy prize” (and the crowd goes wild)! It’s totally out of control and a hell of a lot of fun!

Wednesday is “B-MOVIE BACKYARD BONANZA”

Once the weather gets nice, we set up a movie screen and play off the wall, “Non-Blockbuster” type movies in the backyard. There is no cover charge—just show up and hang out. We have bags o' popcorn for only $1.00! The show starts around 10:30 pm and we usually show 1/2 hour of weird shorts before the feature. It’s our own specially twisted previews. Just to give you a taste, last year we showed stuff like: “Meet the Feebles,” “Rock-n-Roll High School,” “A Dirty Shame,” “Return of the Living Dead,” “Tromeo and Juliet,” and many...many...more. Don’t forget to bring a make-out date!

We also have $2.50 Well Drinks and $2.00 Labatt's Blue in bottles all night long. That Rocks!

Thursday is “SIT-N-SPIN NIGHT”

Every hour we spin our giant roulette wheel and whichever slot it lands on is the special. There are all sorts of goodies like: $2.00 domestic bottles, $1.00 PBRs, $2.50 well drinks, FREE tap water (wow!), and so on. It’s so much fun, it will make your head spin...and spin.... And spin....

Friday we have a “SLAP-HAPPY HOUR”

This runs from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm. It’s a regular Happy Hour-A-Thon! We have $2.00 drafts and $2.50 well drinks for our cheap-ass special. Also, around 6:00, we have free pizza for you hungry little devils. And in case you miss the pizza, we always have bowls of Chex Mix on the bar. Mmmmm...Chex Mix.

Saturday is “CHEAP DATE NIGHT”

Grab a date, a few bucks, and get to Lux early. From 9:00pm until 11:00pm you can get $2.50 well drinks and if you’re lucky...a little lovin’ from your honey.
